Peter Na, MD
 
Dr. Peter J. Na is an addiction psychiatrist at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System and an assistant professor of psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. He received his M.D. degree from Seoul National University College of Medicine and M.P.H. degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. He completed his psychiatry residency at Mayo Clinic and New York University, and addiction psychiatry fellowship at Yale. To date, he has published more than 70 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters on suicide, addiction, and the intersection between the two conditions. Dr. Na’s research interests are in the intersection of substance use disorders and suicidal behavior and mental health of veterans. His research focuses on the psychosocial, environmental and genetic factors that contribute to the development of addiction and suicidal behavior.
